| How can a combo washer dryer help you? |

Save on usable square footage - Combo washer dryers can go where
traditional washers and dryers or stackable units cannot. At just under
34" high by just under 24" wide and about 22" deep, Innovative
Washing washer dryer combo units are perfect fits for closets and other small
areas- and they both wash and dry clothes in the same unit! They can be stored
in closets, installed in small spaces, or under counters. In fact, our EdgeStar
units have one of the most compact depths of any combo washer dryer, making
them ideal for placement in older buildings with slimmer door widths.

Wheelchair- friendly operation- Combination washer dryers have a front
loading design, with the bottom of the porthole 13" above the floor and
the top 25" above the floor. This compact height and convenient
front-loading design make combination washer dryers much easier to load and
unload than traditional laundry units and top loaders for people in wheelchairs
or with disabilities. Think about it: no unloading of wet, heavy clothes from a
washer to a dryer means less strenuous work effort. Those using a combo
onlyhandle dry, light clothing. Handicap access and front-loading laundry
machines are required by law of all public laundry rooms in the United States
in accordance with Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards.

Wheelchair-friendly control height- With the controls located on the
front, about 32" above the floor, washer dryer combo units are easily
accessible and simple to use for the wheelchair-bound.

Hypo-allergenic and hygenic cleaning- These units are extremely energy
efficient and they wash much better (and gentler) than standard washers. Combos
use a front load washing design that utilizes a horizontal axis drum. This
eliminates the agitator common to top load washers. In top load washers, the
agitator is both very inefficient at cleaning and very rough on clothes. The
horizontal axis drum on combos mimics washboard clothes washing, raising the
clothes out of the water and soap and plunging them back in. Finally, the high
rpm´s of the spin cycle of these units gets water and soap residue out of
your clothes much better than normal washers do. This efficient and thorough
cleaning process is especially helpful for people with sensitive skin or
allergies to laundry soap.
