high by just under 24" wide and about 22" deep, combination washer
dryers are about the same size as a standard dishwasher- and they both wash and

small spaces, or under counters. In fact, our EdgeStar units have one of the
most compact depths of any combo washer dryer, making them ideal for placement
in older buildings with slimmer door widths.

Ventless units make for quick and easy installation- No vent means no
hassle - this means no ductwork, no fire rated vent chase, no finish work
inside the apartment, no new holes in the building envelope, no make up air
requirements, no fans, and greatly simplified design and construction.
Installation is guaranteed to be fast and simple. Combination washer dryers
offer the flexibility for 110V or 220V power, depending upon the model. Plus,
all models are the same size as a standard dishwasher, with similar water

Easily portable from base to base- Add a portability kit to your combo
and it becomes easy to roll from place to place on wheels! Combination washer
dryers can be outfitted with caster wheels and a faucet adapter, so they can
roll to a standard sink to do laundry and roll away for storage when the

Meet neatness standards- These units wash much better (and gentler) than
standard washers. Combos use a front load washing design that utilizes a
horizontal axis drum. This eliminates the agitator common to top load washers.
In top load washers, the agitator is both very inefficient at cleaning and very
rough on clothes. The horizontal axis drum on combos mimics washboard clothes
washing, raising the clothes out of the water and soap and plunging them back
in. The high RPMs of the spin cycle of these units gets water and soap residue
out of your clothes much better than normal washers do. This efficient and
thorough cleaning process is especially helpful for people with sensitive skin
or allergies to laundry soap and can help those in the military meet top
standards in hygeine and neatness.
